We are a family who loved having multiple litters of Boxers over a period of many years, and now we are excited to share our love of the Australian Mountain Doodle (AMD) with you.
THE AMD breed is an incredible mix of the best of the Australian Shepherd, Bernese Mountain Dog, and Poodle. We fell in love with this breed many years ago and began doing our research and searching for the perfect pup. We found her!
Frannie truly is the best companion! She is unbelievably smart and loves everyone! She has become our most beloved furry family member, and we want to share her lovable traits with everyone through her amazing puppies.
Then there's Milo, the gentle, lovable, gorgeous male who was an equal part in producing our first and second outstanding AMD litters. He is now going to be the Papaw to all near future Woodbriar Wags pups! He has earned and deserves this high calling for sure!
We are slowly but surely growing our program with our beautiful AMD, Millie, who is a red and white Parti, as well as LuLu, who is a black and white Parti. We are hopeful that both Mille and LuLu will become future Mamas for us, but for now, they are both living with their guardian families and thriving with all the love and attention they deserve. We are also so excited to introduce Sami, our amazingly gentle, smart, and outgoing Bernedoodle, who is living with his amazing guardian family, and who we are planning to pair with Frannie for her retirement litter. All of our Dads and Moms, as well as prospective parents, have been health tested through Embark, and have passed with flying colors!
Keep an eye out for the Sami x Frannie pairing, where we expect puppies to be 35-50 lbs full-grown, with coats from furnished to non-furnished, straight to wavy, and possibly a wide variety of coat colors. We're also hopeful about a pairing between Millie and the sweetest little full-blooded red poodle, named Rudy! This litter's estimated adult weight will be between 20-35 lbs. They will be furnished and have coats from wavy to curly, and will likely be red, ranging anywhere from cream to deep red. These pups are expected Spring/Summer 2026, so don't wait to reach out about placing a deposit.

Woodbriar Wags has been amazing from the start. I joined their Facebook page mid-Oct and saw her post about the puppies before they were born and DM’d her for more info. Ever since then she has been so responsive - sending details and photos all along the way, FaceTiming a few times in Nov/Dec with me to see all the puppies so we could decide which one to bring home. She’s been so accommodating. They are doing so much great training and socialization with them too, which makes me feel really good.
